feast now, diet later

Examinations? OVER! Assignments? DONE! Thesis? Waiting for lecturer’s call! What else do I have to do here? It has been long since I last gathered with my seniors. These 2 young ladies are quite close to me here in Medan. They’re like my sisters, giving me advice from time to time. They’re currently in their clinical years and will soon be a doctor =) Last Saturday, Roxanne called me out for spa together but too bad that place was full. Perhaps I’ll blog about it next time XD so we went for hair treatment together. People in Medan called it “creambath”. We had dinner together after that in a Chinese restaurant named Tea Garden, located at Jl. Multatuli. This is the 4th time I had my dinner there with friends. The food is good and the price is reasonable! The most important is, we all were happy there =)

When these people looked at the menu, they were telling “This is what we call MENU”. I LOLed listened to this. I remembered how Keith scratched his head and told us how stressed he was in choosing what food to eat because there were so many choices and it all looked yummy!

We ordered like we didn’t eat for days. Not only the Chinese dishes, we also ordered some side orders. We took these before our main dishes~

Leng Hong Kien

This is famous in Medan. You can see everywhere selling dim sum, selling this. The best Leng Hong Kien in Medan is said to be at the dim sum/steamboat restaurant at Jl. Barbura named Ah Yong Sangwo =)

Portuguese tart

One of my favorite! I don't know where else I can get this in Medan =(

Iced Jelly

Roxanne and her boyfriend ordered this. If I'm not wrong, it was mixture of some fruits, mainly mangoes and jelly in ice. Sweet!

Yam Basket with Prawns and Chickens

See Theng chose this dish =) One of the famous dish served in Tea Garden I guess? I see many of the tables there had this dish on them.

Sambal Asparagus

Roxanne chose this dish =) We all longed for asparagus. It feels like we don't see many vegetables around the place nearby USU LOL.

Sze Chuan Style Beancurd

Li Ting chose this because everything else was so dry.

Fried Chicken with Prawn Sauce

Roxanne made the decision in ordering this since many didn't like what Joanne suggested but it was just plain fried chicken. It didn't have any sauce on it or tasted any like prawn >.<

Young Sam Chicken Soup

I had this herbal soup myself. You know me, I really couldn't take dry food. So, I guess this herbal soup suits me best!

Chinese Tea

We all had this pot of tea exactly like those uncles/grandpas drinking tea while talking to their old friends like they didn't meet for ages. We shared. We gossiped. We teased. We laughed. It felt great to gather together.

There were many other dishes that I didn't take photo. We were all busy eating, enjoying the dinner together. I should have video recorded down how Roxanne looked at the food when the waitresses served them. She was drooling! Check out the receipt below. It was so long~~

It all costs us Rp. 322.850. I'm not sure if we got discount since we used Kam Hoong's credit card. That's what we do all the time when we eat together with Kam Hoong XD See Theng asked for membership card from the waitress there but too bad the owner of the restaurant only will provide membership card to their regular customers.

Again, Roxanne and her boyfriend talked about their old time story. This time, it was a little more interesting. We discussed and video recorded it. I was telling Roxanne, I’ll keep this video safe until their wedding day. There were few lines which were so funny I never thought she would say it out, i.e “we girls gotta act generous, pretend like we didn’t care and he seriously did it like we didn’t care!” LOL. See this is the voice of a girl deep from her heart and she is brave enough to say it in front of her friends and boyfriend, in the video!

a good friend of mine~

I was trying so hard to get my close friend back but too bad he declared to me, he admitted that he is avoiding me all these while and the reason he gave was because he is fear of the feeling might be back again. I wasn’t happy when he told me he is not following my blog anymore. When he told me about it, it somehow made me feel he got no more feelings for me. He really let go of our past. Yea, I should say it is a good thing but I don’t feel easy knowing he doesn’t care even a bit about me anymore. He is a very nice guy I used to like him. In fact, to be honest, I was considering about him because he is really a very nice guy to me. After chatted with him about our past, we had concluded this. We can’t be together because he tried stepping into my life at the wrong time.

My blog is inactive at most time due to the hectic life I’m leading right now. I have no time for my blog. I have no time to share here but I got a habit. When I’m sad, when I’m angry, I’ll type. I used to tell my stories to my best friends last time but now that I’m not in Malaysia, it is difficult. That’s why I started to write a lot. Writing made me feel better at times. It feels like I’ve shared with somebody though I don’t know who the reader is. It was quite surprising that day after I posted my last blog, I received a comment from him telling me to delete off the link to my blog from my Facebook profile since my blog is dead most of the time. Does this mean he is actually still following my blog?

From his personal message in MSN, I think he is facing some problem. Deep in my heart, I knew he won’t share any of his problems with me anymore. I still tried asking him just now. I asked him via MSN chat. He didn’t really told me what is happening as predicted. He told me he has a best friend now. I’m happy for him. At least I know there is a person here, away from our hometown, who still can share his problems with him, reducing his stress. Studying here can be very stressful at times. I’m not sure if he will be reading this post. Here, I wish he’ll lead a better, stress-free life. Care not about the rumours around you ya buddy! Like I told you, people tend to be tired when they see no response or any further progress about the shits they’re spreading. Don’t worry, be happy =)

I'm so touched knowing all these old friends in Malaysia still care so much for me. I'm sorry to make you all worry of me because of my relationship. Perhaps it is all because I'm still new in this relation. Time will change things into better! I'm seriously surprised reading your comments, emails etc. I seriously never thought you people would spare your time for such long wods for me. I appreciate them really. Guess what?! I've saved them in my diary =) I love you people! I miss MGS life so much! There, I can chat with each and everyone of you freely. Thanks for checking out my blog even though this blog has been dead. I desperately need listener here leaving alone in Medan. I miss all of you so much!

I'm so sorry to make you girls worry so much of me that you people called me nonstop just to ask about my recent condition especially the amount of food I consumed a day. I know all of you care alot for me and I'm very touched for that! I really never thought you girls cared so much for me before this! I shouldn't have typed all those health problems I'm facing here in the blog I guess but anyway, thank you so much for all your suggestions and advices =)

I'll take good care of myself. No worries of me! I still look healthy hehehe... Hey darlings, good luck and best of luck in your STPM kay? It is in a week time I bet all of you are damn nervous right now. Stay cool and relax. Don't work out yourself this time. Take good care of your health too! KSS! I miss you too!

I felt so lonely all these while. I miss my friends in Kuantan alot. I miss each and everyone in Malaysia so much!! I'm so sorry to all of them because I was busy all these while, I didn't contact them often. STPM is just around the corner, I heard first paper is on the 18th November. KSS, jia you jia you!! You guys can do it!

I was so happy receiving emails and messages from all these KSS darlings who are still concern of one of their members here. We didn't contact for so long I thought you guys forgot me already >.< my bad my bad. Oh yeaa.. even though Novel is not one of the members, but she usually will join us in all the hangouts. Well, I think we should talk to our KSS president about giving you a nick lol.

Same like you guys over there in Malaysia, I'll have my Pathology Clinic practical test tomorrow morning at 10am (Malaysia time will be 11am). I'm so nervous now I can't remember all the ways to do those experiments. There are too many! Gosh~ can anybody help me? Hopefully everything will be fine tomorrow =) pray hard for me darlings!

Aduii.. I sounded so blur chatting with Nithia just now. Thanks so much to her for the lessons on how to use this blogger thingy *swts* Yea.. I admit I am still very lost in using this blogging stuff especially with those complicated long long >?/*(%# signs in html or javascript or whatever which I don't understand at all @.@

Again, this is also another friend where I almost lost contact with her. She shifted to Subang. Kuantan is like so quiet without her. Well, people who knows Nithia should know that she is one of the loudest girls. Come to think of it, I think most girls in my class last time were loud. Talks nonstop like we will die without speaking out loud BUT WE ENJOYED chatting this way!!! lol

I really miss those days where we can talk to our friends like 24/7. High school life, I bet everybody missed it. I still remember Hui Yi and me were noisy until my English teacher named us 7-11. Yea 7-11 because our mouth never closed. lol. Never knew that this name were spread all over MGS until a month ago, one of the juniors which I don't recognised her *I'm so sorry for that* asking 'how is both the branches of 7-11 doing? I only see Hui Yi. Where is Li Ting?'

Specially to this unknown junior: li ting is in Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia now taking Dentistry studies. Thanks alot for your care of us both! lol

Karlson Soh

The person above is one of my best friends. I just had a good chat with him few hours back in msn. If I'm not mistaken, the last time we met was Chinese New Year 2007 at Sik Mei's place. Wow~ never thought time passed so fast. It has been more than a year since we last met.

I didn't know how we suddenly chatted about the past just now. There were misunderstandings between me and him. We somehow managed to be honest to each other just now and I'm glad we're friends. Best friends indeed. Frankly speaking, I miss him alot. 

Like he said just now, he cared alot for me. I knew. All these while, I knew you cared alot for me. Maybe it all must depends on what people say, FATE. I loved you too and I appreciate how you worked so hard for me, everything that you did for me, your care, even your lessons on accountings and histories lol. Thanks alot Karlsy. I promise, we will be best friends forever and I wish you luck with your girlfriend.
